Profiting From Preservation
In 1999 and 2003, The Mosby Heritage Area Association funded a study called Profiting From Preservation. The study took a financially focused look at open space preservation, heritage tourism, and adaptive reuse of historic structures. This study sought to encourage readers to endorse preservation if for no other reason than because it made financial sense and contributed to localities’ tax income.
This grant supports the design and publication of a book quantifying economic data that illustrate the economic benefits of historic preservation in Loudoun and other counties within the Mosby Heritage Area.
